Brian Joe Garrett

Mr. Brian Joe Garrett, age 46 of Key West, Florida, formerly of Jonesboro died Saturday, October 3, 2015 at his home. He was born December 18, 1968 in Cape Girardeau, Missouri, the son of Joe and Martha A. (Isaacs) Garrett. Brian is survived by his mother, Martha Garrett of Jonesboro; brother, Jon Jones and wife Lori of Key West, FL; sister Darlene Osteen and husband Bill of Broken Arrow, OK, nieces, Cassandra Garvin and husband Sean of Suffolk, VA, Cortnie Garrett Osteen of Broken Arrow, OK, and Lilli Stach of Key West FL, nephews Dustin Osteen and wife Kristi of Broken Arrow, OK, William "Bo" Osteen of Norman, OK; very special friend, Dickie Reynolds along with many others; also other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Joe Garrett on April 30, 2005 and his grandmother, Lucille Isaacs. Brian was a 1987 graduate of Anna Jonesboro Community High School, where he lettered in baseball, basketball and football. He attended John A. Logan College where he played baseball and went on to receive a Bachelor Degree in Business Administration from Eastern Illinois University. Brian was an avid golfer and one of the highlights of his game was a hole in one at the Coosa Country Club in Rome Georgia, where he was a club manager. Memorial services will be at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, October 11, 2015 in the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Jonesboro with Pastor Dennis Scoville officiating. Interment will be in the Jonesboro Cemetery. Friends may call after 12:00 noon and until the service hour at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, October 11, 2015 in the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Jonesboro. Memorial contributions may be made to Jonesboro Elementary School in Brian's memory or Salem Lutheran Church in Jonesboro.
