Brian Edwards

Brian Edwards, age 53 of Anna, died Saturday, February 12. 2022 at his home. He was born December 16, 1968 in Cape Girardeau, MO, the son of Johnny C. and Edith "Katie" (McHughes) Edwards. Brian is survived by his loving mother, Katie Edwards of Anna; sons, Christopher Edwards of Anna, Chandler Edwards of Jonesboro; daughter Abbie Edwards of Anna; two grandchildren, Waylon and Everly K. Edwards; brother, Anthony (Cindy) Edwards of Anna; niece, Jordan Edwards; special little dog and buddy, "Willie"; other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father; and grandparents. Brian worked for many years as a heavy equipment operator with E.T. Simonds. He was a member of the Local 318 Operating Engineers and was a life member of the Carroll P. Foster Post 3455 Auxiliary. Brian was an avid outdoorsman. He loved gardening, playing pool, hunting for mushrooms and arrowheads, fishing and fish fries. Memorial service will be at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, February 17, 2022 at the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Anna. Friends may call from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home to assist the family with final expenses.
