Brenda Kay Brown

Brenda Kay Brown, age 69 of Anna, died Monday, October 21, 2019 at her home. She was born July 29, 1950 in Anna, the daughter of Thomas and Bertha (Trexler) Baker. She married Terrance Dale Brown on October 18, 1973 in St. Louis, Missouri. He preceded her in death on November 25, 2010.Brenda is survived by her father, Thomas Baker; daughter, Melissa K. (Lee) Martel of Jonesboro; siblings, Patricia Lovell of Anna, Lucy (Bill) Sampson of St. Pete, FL, Mike Baker of Wisconsin, Brian Baker of Makanda, and Kim Gentry of Makanda; four grandchildren; one great-grandchild; other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her mother; husband, Terrance Dale Brown; son, Omer Brown; siblings Jeff baker, Scott Baker, and Jan Robertson.Brenda was a member of the Moose Lodge in Anna and she enjoyed playing bingo.Graveside services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, October 25, 2019 at Mound City National Cemetery with Rev. Bobby Richardson officiating. Interment will be in the Mound City National Cemetery. Everyone is asked to go directly to the Cemetery.
