Bonita "Bonnie" Inman

Bonita "Bonnie" Inman, age 97 of Jonesboro, died Wednesday, March 13, 2019 in the Life Care Center in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. She was born September 22, 1921 in Jonesboro, the daughter of Dennis Beloved and Bessie Beatrice (Ferrell) Toler. She married James Woodrow "Woody" Inman on August 23, 1939 in Cape Girardeau, MO. He preceded her in death on January 4, 1990. Bonnie is survived by her four daughters, Carole (Bill) Childers Carver, Joyce (Jon) Lutz, Marsha (Sam) Sparks, and Jan (Eric) Cantley; eleven grandchildren, David (Michelle) Childers, Todd (Megan) Childers, Jenifer Lutz Ritchie (Dan), Jon Lutz (Sophia Frydman), Jimmy (Maggie) Lutz, Jodi Lutz Essary (Scott), Jared (Jordan) Sparks, Katie Sparks Hendricks (Steven), Kimberly Sparks Jokerst (Scott), Erica Cantley Kerr (Josh), Micah (Emily) Cantley; twenty seven great grandchildren and one on the way; many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, James Woodrow "Woody" Inman; brother, Gene Toler; sister, Mary Belcher and infant sister, Janis. Bonnie was a dedicated lifelong member of the First Baptist Church in Jonesboro. She first attended at the age of five, and continued to serve her church in various capacities wherever she was needed over the next ninety years. Bonnie was a talented seamstress and assisted her husband, Woody with the bookkeeping for his business for thirty years. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 20, 2019 in the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Anna with Pastor Jared Sparks officiating. Interment will be in the Jonesboro Cemetery. Friends may call from 5 to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 19, 2019 in the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Anna. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
