Bobbie J. Tucker Jr., age 52 of Marion, died at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 12, 2017 at home. He was born on August 10, 1964 in Phoenix, AZ, the son of Bobbie J. Sr. and Lynne Tucker.Bobbie is survived by his mother, Lynne Keltner and step father, Mark E. Keltner of Santa Ana, CA; two sons, Bobbie James Tucker Obderndorfer of Brookfield, CT and Justin Mills of Hawaii; one sister, Donielle Swain of Westville, one brother, Michael J. Tucker of Tustin, CA; half-sisters, Amy (Brandon) Harp of Olmsted, Tressie Tucker of St. Louis, MO, Holly (Todd) Born of Fort Worth, TX; uncles, Jim Tucker and Victor Tucker. Several nieces and nephews and many friends. Bobbie was preceded in death by his father, Bobbie J. Tucker Sr.; grandmother, Tressie Tucker; grandfather, Claude Tucker; grandmother, Ada Mae Casper; aunt, Donna Botula; uncle, Mark Casper.Bobbie graduated from Foothill High School and went directly into the Army after graduation. When he left the Army he worked overseas for a company that installed electrical WiFi systems in airplanes. He returned to Tustin in 1994 and started his own lawn care business that he worked at for several years. From there, he went into home loans where he found his nitch. He worked several years with his wife, Sherry until they divorced in 2011.Some of the high points in his life were when he was in high school, he put on a one man art exhibit at a brand new very upscale mall named South Coast Plaza in California that was hailed as one of the best exhibits ever put on. He was a wonderful artist, and he was also a great cook and loved to fish.Bobbie moved to Marion in 2013 to be closer to his father and his family. As a down home boy, he felt that his roots were here, and the place he loved the most was always home to him.Memorial services for Bobbie J. Tucker Jr. will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday, January 27, 2017 in the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Jonesboro with Paul Tirey officiating. Interment will be in the Campground Cemetery in Anna. Military rites will be conducted by the Carroll P. Foster Post #3455 of the VFW in Anna. Friends may call after 1:00 p.m. until the service hour at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, January 27, 2017 in the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Jonesboro.
