Bill Thomas

Bill Thomas, age 87 of Anna, died Sunday, September 30, 2018 at his home surrounded by his daughters. He was born February 7, 1931 in Madison, the son of Cleve and Maggie (Will) Thomas. He married Vivian Noble on April 25, 1953 in San Diego, CA. She preceded him in death on March 2, 1980. Bill is survived by three daughters, Sherry (Kerry) Aden of Cape Girardeau, MO, Kelly Pearson of Cobden and Terri Thomas of Anna; three grandchildren, Kerrigan Moser, Jeremy Aden and Will Pearson; four great grandchildren; other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Vivian Thomas; two sisters, LaWanda Korando and Carolin Lacy; two brothers, Norman Thomas and Robert Donald Thomas. Bill was a loving father and grandfather. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy during the Korean War. He worked for over twenty-nine years for Bunny Bread as a route man. He liked to fish, duck hunt and work in his yard. He enjoyed spending time with his coffee drinking friends at McDonalds. Graveside services for Bill Thomas will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, October 3, 2018 at the Alto Pass Cemetery. Interment will be in the Alto Pass Cemetery. Friends may call from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 3, 2018 in the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Anna. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Southern Illinois or the Charity of your Choice. Envelopes will be available at the funeral Home and the cemetery.
