Betty Zimmerman

Betty Zimmerman, age 87 of Ava, formerly of Anna, died Monday, December 27, 2021 at Memorial Hospital in Carbondale. She was born September 11, 1934 in McClure, the daughter of Henry N. and Myra L. (Wilson) Davis. Betty is survived by her children, Dennis (Selma) Zimmerman of Ava and James (Julie Ann) Zimmerman of Anna; 11 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; brother, George Davis of Branson, MO; other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and daughters, Lana Romero and Kimberly Zimmerman. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, January 3, 2022 at the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Jonesboro with Pastor Clay Yoakum officiating. Interment will be in the Valley Mission Cemetery. Friends may call from 10:00 a.m. until the service hour at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, January 3, 2022 at the funeral home.
