Betty Jane (Gray) Masters

Betty J. Masters, age 86 of Cobden, passed away Tuesday, March 7, 2023 at her daughter's home. She was born on September 23, 1936 in Suffolk, Virginia, the daughter of Ralph and Mable (Outland) Gray.

She is survived by her son, Mark (Debra) Masters of Mt. Dora , Florida; daughter, Kim Harvel of Cobden; grandchildren, Ashley (Drew) Williams, Rachel (Patrick) Brewster, Taylor Harvel (Bryce Reynolds), Candice Chachkin, and Bobby Masters; great-grandchildren, June, Ben, and Cain Daniel, William and Elaina Brewster; other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Deborah Masters and son, Keith Masters.

Betty worked for the Utilities Commission in New Smyrna Beach, Florida and later the City of St. Augustine Beach as the personnel director until her retirement. She loved fishing and working in her flower garden. Betty will be dearly missed by her family.

Memorial visitation will be from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 14, 2023 at the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Anna.
