Betty Jo Boyd

Betty Jo Boyd, age 73 of West Frankfort, died Wednesday, April 21, 2021 at Harrisburg Medical Center. She was born February 1, 1948 in Granite City, the daughter of Samuel and Betty (Shepard) Casper. On most days you could find Betty enjoying a crossword puzzle or reading her Bible. She will be dearly missed by all that knew her especially her family. She is survived by her children, Amanda Boyd of West Frankfort, Nicholas Boyd of Clarksville, TN, Jason Stanton of West Frankfort, and Michael Stanton of TN; five grandchildren; brothers, Jeff (Ruth) Dunn of Vienna and Randy Dunn of Anna; many other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Gerald Wayne "Jerry" Casper and Steve Casper. Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 27, 2021 in the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Jonesboro with Pastor David A. Nolen officiating. Friends may call from 11:00 a.m. until the service hour of 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow ceremony in the Casper Cemetery in Anna. Everyone attending will be required to wear a face covering and observe social distancing guidelines. Maximum occupancy of the funeral home will be limited to 50 individuals at one time. Memorials can be made to the 700 Club.
