Beryl I Turner

Beryl I. Turner, age 88 of Anna, died on Wednesday, April 6, 2011 at 5:39 am at the Union County Hospital in Anna. He was born on March 5, 1923 in Mt. Glenn, IL the son of Bert and Eulalia (Goot) Turner.Beryl proudly served in the US Army during WWII. He participated in the New Guinea and Southern Philippine Compaigns.Survivors include one sister, Evelyn Merk of Jonesboro; two nieces, Martha (Anthony) Lococo, Jane (Michael) Leavitt; one nephew, John B. (Pat) Merk; three great-nieces, Jennifer (James) Williams, Krista (James) Evans, Michelle Merk; one great-nephew, Andrew (Pam) Lococo. Beryl was preceded by one brother, John Turner and two sisters, Helen June Turner and Gladys Gregory.Private funeral services for Mr. Beryl Turner will be conducted at Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Jonesboro.
