Barbara L. Pearson

Mrs. Barbara Lee Lamer Pearson died at 3:15 p.m. Thursday, June 23, 2011 in Union County Hospital. She was born March 7, 1937 in Cobden, the daughter of R.E. "Babe" and Katherine "Kitty" (Mann) Lamer. She married Elvis "Bud" Pearson in Cobden on November 6, 1954.Barbara is survived by her husband, Elvis "Bud" Pearson of Cobden; three sons, Dana (Rhonda) Pearson of Cobden, Gary (Laura) Pearson of Fenton, MO, and Robert "Bobby" Pearson of Farmington, MO; one sister, Sue Ella Rich of Cookeville, TN; one brother, Robert Vaughn "R.V." (Linda) Lamer of Cobden; eight grandchildren; one great-grandson; many cousins, nieces, nephews, and a host of friends. Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, one granddaughter and a daughter-in-law. Barbara was a member and song leader of the Congregational Church in Cobden. Barbara was a heart transplant recipient in 1991. God blessed her family and friends with 20 more years of memories. Funeral services for Mrs. Barbara Lee Lamer Pearson will be held at 1:00 p.m. Sunday, June 26, 2011 at Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Cobden with Rev. Clifford Heil and Rev. Bryan Morrison officiating. Interment will be in the Cobden Cemetery. Friends may call at Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Cobden on Saturday, June 25, 2011 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
