Barbara Sue (Magee) Duckworth

Barbara Sue Duckworth, age 75 of Anna, passed away Wednesday, December 18, 2024, surrounded by her family. She was born on September 12, 1949, in Sikeston, MO, the daughter of Elisha and Bunav (Williams) Magee. She married James E. Duckworth on June 11, 1971.

Barbara is survived by her husband, James Duckworth; children, Sabrina Duckworth (Tony Davis) and Michael Hudson (Tracy Carr); grandchildren, Tylor (Shawna) Duckworth, Keeton Hudson (Jillian Dover) and Jada Hudson; great-grandchildren, LaiKynn Duckworth and Xzavion Delacruz; loving niece and caretaker, Laurie (Johnny) Pendley; nieces, nephews and other relatives. She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Rama, Mary, Virginia, Geraldine, Betty, Lorene, Florene, Edward, Alferd, Clarence, Howard, Joe, L.C. and Doug.

Barbara was a lifetime member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary. She had a wonderful sense of humor and always enjoyed a good practical joke. She was an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan and greatly enjoyed reading. She loved her family dearly and especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Private services for Barbara Duckworth will take place at Rendleman and Hileman Funeral Home in Anna.
