Barbara J. Hull Hornback

Barbara J. Hull Hornback, age 79 of Cobden, died at 7:24 p.m. Thursday, September 28, 2017 in the Memorial Hospital of Carbondale. She was born December 23, 1937 in Anna, the daughter of Willard and Allie (Lipe) Pearson. Barbara is survived by her children, Roger (Cheri) Beegle of Cobden, Dessi (Charles) Minor of Mt. Vernon, Kenneth (Donna) Beegle of Jonesboro,Kevin (Sheri) Beegle of Mounds, Ellen (Gary) Phalin of Goreville; twelve grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; brother, Elvis "Bud" Pearson of Cobden, sister, Ruth (Joe) Hardin of Cobden; step brother, Junior (Phyllis) Durall of Anna; loving granddog, "Molly", numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; and one grandchild. Barbara was a member of the First Baptist Church of Cobden and was a member of the Anna Moose Lodge #1346 for many years. Funeral services for Barbara J. Hull Hornback will be at 12:00 noon Monday, October 2, 2017 in the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Cobden with Rev. Ed Falgout officiating. Interment will be in the Cobden Cemetery. Friends may call after 10:00 a.m. and until the service hour at 12:00 p.m. on Monday, October 2, 2017 in the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Cobden. Memorial contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church of Cobden. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
