Barbara Sue Hubbs

Mrs. Barbara Sue Hubbs, age 81 of Anna, died at 6:45 p.m. Monday, August 29, 2016 in the St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, Mo. She was born April 8, 1935, in Cypress, the daughter of Donald and Lela (Hinkle) Templeton. She married George Thomas "Tom" Hubbs on May 22, 1955 in Anna. Barbara Sue is survived by her loving husband of sixty-one years, Tom Hubbs of Anna; one son, Greg Hubbs of Anna; two granddaughters, Lyndsey (Kyle) Roach of Dongola, and Emily Hubbs of Anna; one great-grandson, Clayton Thomas Hubbs of Anna; other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; infant brother, Jerry Templeton; and daughter in law, Angela Hubbs. Barbara Sue was a member of the Anna Heights Baptist Church. She loved painting, art and music. She dearly loved her family and will be missed by all. Funeral services for Mrs. Barbara Sue Hubbs will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, September 3, 2016 in the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Jonesboro with Rev. LaRue Parr officiating. Interment will be in the Anna City Cemetery.
