Barbara Morrison, age 88 of Anna, died Wednesday, May 8, 2024 at the Union County Hospital in Anna. She was born October 17, 1935 in Alto Pass, the daughter of Ernie and Gussie (McKinny) Dehart. She married Glenn Morrison on January 8, 1969 in San Diego, California. He preceded her in death on September 16, 2009.
Barbara is survived by her children, Charlotte Ann and husband Danny Hartline of Cobden, Glenn Allan and wife Jennifer Morrison of Canonsburg, PA, daughter in law, Julie Dean of Cobden; six grandchildren, Beau and wife Holly Hartline, Danielle Hartline and Joe McCamish, Khyle and wife Jessica Dean, Kristal Dean, Glenn Morrison III, and Irena Morrison; five great-grandchildren, Drake Hartline, Aiden Bass, Logan Dean, Aria, Brigham and Adaley Dean; numerous nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Glenn Morrison; son, Lawrence Michael Dean; three sisters, Mable Dean, Myrtle Alsip and Ruth Shadowens; five brothers, Donald, Wesley, Buddy, Floyd Ray and Paul William Dehart.
Barbara was a faithful member of the First Baptist Church in Cobden. Early in her working career she was a waitress at the White House Coffee Shop in Anna and Flamms Café. She was an avid Bingo player and enjoyed watching her stories.
Funeral services will be at 12:00 noon Saturday, May 11, 2024 at the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Cobden with Dr. Ed Falgout officiating. Interment will be in the Alto Pass Cemetery. Friends may visit after 10:00 a.m. and until the service at 12:00 noon, Saturday, May 11, 2024 at the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Cobden. Memorial contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church in Cobden.
