Barbara Corzine

Barbara Corzine, 90 of Dongola, passed away Saturday, September 11, 2021 at Union County Hospital in Anna. She was born on August 20, 1931 in Dongola, the daughter of Dock and Lucrecia (West) Acuff. She married Esco B. Corzine on September 2, 1956. He preceded her in death on September 17, 2004. She is survived by one son, Kyle (Jane) Corzine of Dongola; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, her siblings, Emerson, Paul, Lottie, Lyndal, Beatrice, Fred, William David and Darrell; her half-brothers, Bill Corzine and Frank Acuff and half-sisters, Ethel, Irma, Ann Lee and Mary Acuff. Barbara was a member of Friendship Baptist Church in Dongola. She worked in the optometry and eye care industry for over 40 years. She, along with her husband, loved to garden. Funeral services for Barbara Corzine will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 15, 2021 at Rendleman and Hileman Funeral Home in Anna with Larry Jordan officiating. Interment will follow at Friendship Cemetery in Dongola. Visitation will take place from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 14, 2021 at the funeral home. Per State of Illinois mandate, those attending will be required to wear a face covering while indoors.
