Barbara Kathleen Aldridge

Mrs. Barbara Kathleen Aldridge, age 85 of Troy, formerly of Wolf Lake, went to be with her Lord on Tuesday, November 22, 2016 in Aspen Creek surrounded by her immediate family and special friends. She was born December 27 1930 in Reynoldsville, the daughter of William Curtis and Dorothy May (Randall) Forrest. She married Bill Aldridge on January 31, 1953 in Corinth, MS. Barbara is survived and dearly missed by her loving husband of sixty-two years, Bill Aldridge of Aspen Creek in Troy; daughter and son in law, LaDonna and Donnie Chandler of Collinsville; granddaughter, Whitney (Aaron) Baker of Troy; great-granddaughter, Nora Lee Baker; numerous nieces and nephews; extended family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, John, Harold and Bill Forrest; two sisters, Velma Hayes and Roberta Rendleman. Barbara was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a member of Galilee Baptist Church in Wolf Lake for many years. Graveside funeral services for Mrs. Barbara Kathleen Aldridge will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday, November 25, 2016 in the Jonesboro Cemetery with Deacon Donnie Chandler officiating. Interment will be in the Jonesboro Cemetery. Friends are asked to go directly to the cemetery. Memorial contributions are preferred to be made to Heartland Hospice in Fairview Heights. Envelopes will be available at the cemetery and the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home.
