Arthur William Wright

Mr. Arthur W. Wright, age 90 of Alto Pass, died at 4:35 A.M., Sunday, August 15, 2010 at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, MO. He was born June 10, 1920 in Risco, MO the son of George Washington and Rosie (Brown) Wright. He married Mary Violet Goss on October 4, 1941 in New Madrid, MO. She preceded him in death on December 3, 2002. Arthur is survived by three sons, James Wright of Cobden, Leonard (Joann) Pack of Bloomfield, MO and Vernie (Jane) Wright of St. Charles, MO; six daughters, Rosie Tucker of Cobden, Brenda Nixon of Pocahontas, AR, Mary Dillow of Alto Pass, Barbara (Danny) Randolph of Cobden, Martha Wright of Anna, Betty (Delmer Horman) Ledford of Cape Girardeau, MO, thirty-seven grandchildren, ten step-grandchildren, twenty-seven great-grandchildren, ten great-great-grandchildren, other relatives & many friends. Funeral services for Mr.Arthur W. Wright will be held at 3:00 pm, Tuesday, August 17, 2010 at the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Alto Pass with the Rev. David Randolph officiating. Interment will be in the Alto Pass Cemetery. Friends may call at the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Alto Pass on Tuesday from 1:00 pm until the funeral hour at 3:00.
