Anthony F. "Tony" Brust

Mr. Anthony F. "Tony" Brust, age 63 of Ullin, died at 5:20 p.m. Wednesday, May 6, 2015 at his home. He was born February 29, 1952 in Anna, the son of Bernard F. Jr and Dorothy Mae Bryant Brust. Tony is survived by his daughter, Anna Marie (Shane) Aumiller of Anna; one son, John Adam Brust (Jenny Aden) of Ullin; grandchildren, Jaron Brust, Tyler Knupp, Alex Knupp, Payton Brust and Julian Brust; one sister, Rebecca Brown of Jonesboro; one niece, Tiffany Brown; and one nephew, Todd Brown. He was preceded in death by his parents. Tony was a former member of the Catholic Church in Ullin, he proudly served his country in the United States Navy. He retired from the Fellowship House as a counselor and shift supervisor. Tony was an avid sports fan, he always enjoyed going to sporting events for his children and grandchildren. Funeral mass for Mr. Anthony F. "Tony" Brust will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 16, 2015 in the St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Cobden with Father Uriel Salamanca officiating. Graveside military rites will be conducted by the Carroll P. Foster Post #3455 of the V.F.W. in Anna and the Navy Funeral Honor Detail. Interment will be in the St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Cobden. Friends may call after 10:00 and until the service hour at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 16, 2015 in the St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Cobden.
