Annie Smith

Mrs. Annie Smith, age 93 of Wolf Lake, died at 3:45 p.m. Sunday, April 7, 2013 in the Jonesboro Rehab and Care Center. She was born October 16, 1919 in Union County, the daughter of Leslie "Les" and Nettie Morse Sims. She married Lewis Smith on October 22, 1934 in Jonesboro. Annie is survived by her daughter, Irene (Jim) Stamp of Wolf Lake; one grandson, Jeff (Dishona) Stamp of Jonesboro; three great grandchildren, Josh, Jacob and Amanda Stamp; one nephew, Ted Bright; other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Lewis Smith; and one daughter, Louise Smith. Annie was a member of the Faith Assembly in Wolf Lake for many years. She was retired from Florshiem Shoe Company in Anna after thirty three years of service. Funeral services for Mrs. Annie Smith will be at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 10, 2013 at the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Jonesboro with Rev. Jim Stamp officiating. Interment will be in the Jonesboro Cemetery. Friends may call after 12:00 noon and until the funeral hour at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 10, 2013 at the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Jonesboro. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Jonesboro Rehab and Care Center. Envelopes will be available at the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Jonesboro.
