Anna Lou Malcolm

Anna Lou Malcolm, age 87 of Anna, died Thursday, July 17, 2025 at Deaconess Union County Hospital in Anna. She was born on April 21, 1938 in Marion, the daughter of Earl and Emma (Grammer) Malcolm.

Anna was a long-time resident of Mulberry Manor in Anna. She will be remembered and missed by the staff and residents there. She enjoyed listening to music, going to yard sales, and especially loved going with Joann to get her hair done. She loved collecting pictures of flowers and animals to hang on her wall. She loved her son very much and talked about him a lot.

She is survived by her son, John Malcolm of Jacksonville, FL as well as her friends and the staff at Mulberry Manor.

There will be no public services held at this time. Rendleman and Hileman Funeral Home in Anna is in charge of arrangements.
