Anita Maze

Anita Maze, age 85 of Anna, died January 3, 2019 in the Integrity Healthcare in Anna. Anita was born May 14, 1933 in Union County the daughter of Benjamin Clay and Amanda Caroline (Edmonds) Sadler. She married Riley Leroy "Tee" Maze on April 22, 1950 in Piggott AR. He preceded her in death on October 17, 1991. Anita retired from SIU where she worked as a cook for many years. She was a member of the Immanuel Baptist Church. She enjoyed cooking, baking, reading and spending time with her grandchildren. She is survived by her son, Dennis (Theresa) Maze of Cobden; grandchildren, Jay (Silvia) Young of O'Fallon, MO; Kristi (Josh) Lofton of Cobden; seven great grandchildren, Nicolas and Kaelyn Boie, Elena and Matteo Young, Landon, Reese and Finley Lofton; numerous nieces and nephews that she thought of as her children; other relatives and friends. She was preceded by her parents, husband, Tee Maze; seven brothers and three sisters. Funeral services will be at 12:00 noon on Monday, January 7, 2019 in the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Anna with Pastor Carl Dillow officiating. Interment will be in the Casper Cemetery. Friends may call after 10:00 a.m. and until the service hour at 12:00 noon on Monday, January 7, 2019 in the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Anna.
