Amanda Shane Smith

Mrs. Amanda Shane Smith, age 32 of Anna, died at 1:25 P.M. Friday, October 22, 2010 at Heartland Regional Medical Center in Marion. She was born April 17, 1978 in Cape Girardeau, Mo., the daughter of Donald E. and Marilyn (Lambert) Mull. She married Richard Smith on August 12, 1998 in Jonesboro. Amanda is survived by her husband Richard of Anna; two sons, Jakob and Jude Smith of Anna; one step-son, Joseph Horecker of Cape Girardeau; parents, Donald and Marilyn Mull of Anna; two sisters, Laura (Charles) Prince of Avon, IN., and Melinda (Bradley) Miller of Ullin; Paternal Grandmother, Mercedes Mull of Anna; in-laws, Richard O. (Karen) Smith of Anna; two sister-in-laws, Kim (Rich) Evans and Sandy (Greg) Kohler all of Jonesboro; nieces & nephews; aunts & uncles; cousins; other relatives and many friends.Amanda was a member of the Anna First Baptist Church in Anna. She worked as an LPN at the VA Medical Center in Marion. Funeral services for Mrs. Amanda Shane Smith will be private at the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Anna. Interment will be in the Anna Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the educational fund for Jakob and Jude Smith.
