Mrs. Alta Howerton, age 84 of Cobden died Saturday, May 28, at 7:24 a.m. in Union County Hospital. She was born March 11, 1927.Graveside services for Alta Howerton will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 1, 2011 at the Anna Cemetery. Interment will be in the Anna Cemetery.
