Alisa Lynn (Cast) Wachsnicht

Alisa Lynn Wachsnicht, age 58 of Cobden, died Tuesday, January 14, 2025 at Mercy Southeast Hospital. She was born July 20, 1966 in Union County, the daughter of William and Betty (Williams) Cast. She married Rodney Wachsnicht on December 28, 2007.

Alisa is survived by her husband, Rodney Wachsnicht of Cobden; fur babies, Bella and Duke; brother, Gary (Andrea) Cast of North Carolina; nieces, Briana Cast, Kayla Fleming; great-nieces and nephew, Ella, Mia, Makennah and Everett; aunt, Gladys Cast of Alto Pass; cousins, Pamela Cast of Charleston, MO, Beau, Aden and Brayden Cast, Ellen Williams of Anna, Tammy O'Daniell of Colp; Buddy Cast of Cobden, Leslie (Rick) Miller of Fruitland, MO; father in law, Aurelio Hernandez of Murphysboro; sister in law, Anna Hernandez of Murphysboro; niece, Kaitlyn Hernandez of Murphysboro; many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; uncle, Bud Cast; and mother-in-law, Linda Hernandez.

Alisa worked as a DSP at numerous Cila homes in the area for over thirty years. She adored her babies, Bella and Duke, and loved spending time with them. Alisa enjoyed fishing and going for a drive in the country with her husband Rodney. Alisa will be dearly missed by all her friends and family.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
