Alice Marie (Crowell) Tucker

Alice Marie Tucker, age 74 of Jonesboro, died Monday, October 14, 2024 at Mercy Southeast in Cape Girardeau, MO. She was born October 22, 1949 in Anna, the daughter of George Allen and Mary Magdalene (Dirden) Crowell. She married Randall "Randy" Tucker on August 17, 1968 in Jonesboro. He preceded her in death on September 24, 2023.

Alice is survived by her son, Kevin and wife Nicole Tucker of Jonesboro; the apple of her eye grandson, Reed Tucker; nieces and nephews; other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Randy Tucker; and siblings, Becky Johnson, Edward "Buzz" Crowell, Wayne Crowell and Carolyn Cates.

Alice adored spending time with her grandson, Reed, and loved to spoil him. She and her girlfriends would take trips to NASCAR races whenever they had the opportunity. Alice worked for many years with Congressman Jerry Costello as a staff assistant. Earlier in her career she worked in the Union County Clerks office as deputy clerk and Anna-Jonesboro Community High School as a teacher's aide.

Funeral services for Alice Marie Tucker will be at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 16, 2024 at the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Jonesboro with Bill Littrell officiating. Interment will be in the Jonesboro Cemetery. Friends may visit after 1:00 p.m. Wednesday and until the service at 2:00 p.m. at the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Jonesboro. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions are preferred to the Jonesboro Fire Department Shop with a Fireman. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
