Alice Lucille Baldwin

Mrs. Alice Lucille Baldwin age 88 of Belleville, formerly of Murphysboro died Thursday, April 21, 2011 at 2:27 p.m. in Four Fountains Nursing Home in Belleville. She was born January 31, 1923 in Anna, the daughter of O. Dee and Nettie White Brimm. She married Edgar Houghlan on July 27, 1940 in Charleston, Missouri and later married Cecil Baldwin on March 1, 1955 in Murphysboro, Illinois. Alice is survived by one daughter, Nettie Mae Mann of Murphysboro; one son, Edgar "Dean" (Karen) Houghlan of Murphysboro; twelve grandchildren; twenty five great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Edgar and Cecil; two sons, Ernie Houghlan and Bobby L. Houghlan.Alice was a member of the Elm Street Baptist Church in Murphysboro for many years. Funeral services for Mrs. Alice Lucille Baldwin will be at 1:00 p.m. Monday, April 25, 2011 at the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Jonesboro with Rev. Joe Aldridge officiating. Interment will be in the Casper Cemetery in Anna. Friends may call after 11:00 a.m. and until the funeral hour on Monday, April 25, 2011 at the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Jonesboro.
