Alberta Mae Cook

Alberta Mae Cook, age 94 of Jonesboro, died Tuesday, December 19, 2017 in the Jonesboro Rehabilitation & Health Care Center. She was born November 25, 1923 in Vienna, the daughter of Paris Owen and Birdie Ann (Wall) Eastwood. Alberta married Leonard Cook. He precedes her in death. Alberta is survived by her daughter, Sharon Cook-Tomas (fiancé Troy Collins) of Anna, son, Junior Lee "Zip" Toler of Anna; three grandchildren; sister, Betty Garrett of Anna, other family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Leonard Cook; sons, Charles Wayne Cook, Billy Dean Toler, Donnie Ray Toler; daughters, Peggy Jean Toler and Judy Kay Toler; siblings, O'dell Eastwood, Lowell Eastwood, Lawrence Eastwood and LoLo Eastwood. It was Alberta's wishes to be cremated. A graveside services will be held at a 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 10, 2018 at the Ebenezer Hall Cemetery in Lick Creek.
