Albert E. Middleton

Mr. Albert E. Middleton, age 80 of Anna, died at 10:38 p.m. Sunday June 9, 2013 surrounded by his loving family. He was born April 29, 1933 in Charleston, MO, the son of Charles and Ruby Boytnott Middleton. He married Roberta Landis on May 20, 1957 in Jonesboro. Albert is survived by his loving wife Roberta Middleton of Anna; one daughter Tina (Ollie) Rathjen of Murphysboro, two sons Brad (Dona) Middleton of Jonesboro, Larry (Lalonnie) Middleton of Salt Lake City, UT; one sister Marie Tucker of Carterville, four brothers Russell (Anna) Middleton of Anna, Don (Carolyn) Middleton of Marion, Willard (Judy) Middleton of Dutch Town, David(Bonnie) Middleton of Carterville, seven grandchildren, Cody and Drew Middleton, Rebecca Hinkle, Greg Richardson, Summer and Brandie Middleton, Ashley Walker; two great grandchildren, Ava Walker and Alexa Hinkle; other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; one daughter Carolyn Doughty, one grandson Dresden Doughty, and three brothers, Charles, Bill, and Ernie Middleton. Albert was employed by Bunny Bread for 29 years and retired in 1990; he was a kind and sweet person who always put his family first. He loved grilling food that his family could enjoy sharing with him. He didn't have any big hobbies but did love the lord and old Hymns; he will always be known as the greatest Husband, Dad, Grandpa, and Great- Grandpa in the world; as hobbies fade away memories never do. We know he's singing with the angels, or maybe just listening. Now he knows peace; Gods given peace. Funeral services for Mr. Albert E. Middleton will be at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday June 12, 2013 at the Rendleman and Hileman Funeral Home in Anna with Rev. Joe Aldridge officiating. Interment will be in the Anna City Cemetery. Friends may call after 1:00 p.m. and until the service hour at 3:00 p.m. at the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Anna. Memorial contributions may be made to the Middleton Family.
