Albert Cardwell Joiner II, age 81 of Anna, died at 10:45 pm, Sunday, November 4, 2012 at Chateau Girardeau in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. He was born on August 20, 1931 in Anna, the son of Albert Cardwell and Elizabeth "Betty" (Wright) Joiner. Albert was married to Marilyn Joyce Hunsley on July 22, 1960 in Anna. Albert is survived by his wife, Marilyn Joiner of Anna; one sister, Alice Kerns of Anna; one brother, Pete (Sue) Joiner of Clermont, FL; a nephew, Brent (Dana) Kerns of Glen Carbon; a niece, Allison (John) McDougall of Louisville, CO, other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents. Albert proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. Graveside funeral services for Mr. Albert Cardwell Joiner II will be held at 11:00 am Wednesday, November 7, 2012 at the Edinburg Cemetery in Edinburg, Illinois with the Rev. Kathy Montira officiating. Interment will be in the Edinburg Cemetery. Friends are asked to meet at the cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Mount Moriah Lutheran Church or to PAWS Place in Anna. Envelopes will be available at the cemetery or at Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Anna.
