Adrian L. Pender

Adrian L. Pender, age 82 of Cobden, died Monday, December 7, 2020 at his home. He was born December 1, 1938 in Alto Pass, the son of George R. and Mary Edith (Leggans) Pender. He married Geraldine Raigner on December 22, 1959 in Jonesboro. Adrian is survived by his wife, Geraldine Pender of Cobden; children, Jeffrey (Andrea) Pender of Marion, Myrna Pender of Anna, and Adrian "Abe" (Leni) Pender of Broadwell; grandchildren, Mike Pender and Nicholas (Kari) Pender; two great-grandchildren; siblings, Arty (Louise) Pender of Jonesboro, Helen (Don) Royer of Murphysboro, and Jhan (David) Miller of Anna; other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; grandson, Ryan Pender; siblings, Agnes Crowell, Don Pender, Elnora Ditto, Charles Pender, Jimmy Pender, George Pender, and Delbert Pender. Adrian proudly served his country in the Unites States Navy for 20 years, serving in the Vietnam War. He worked as a correctional sergeant at the Vienna Correctional Center. There will be no services held at this time.
