Mr. Adam Lee Boren, age 45 of Wolf Lake, died Sunday, April 9, 2017. He was born June 11, 1971 in Cape Girardeau, MO, the son of Russ and Gwen (Pendergrass) Boren. He married Maryanne Copeland on March 18, 1995 in Jonesboro. Adam is survived by his wife, Maryanne Boren of Wolf Lake; three sons, Sean Copeland of Indianapolis, IN, Elijah Boren and Levi Boren of Wolf Lake; mother, Gwen Pendergrass of Phoenix, AZ; Owen Cross who was like a grandchild; two half-brothers, Tommy (Samantha) Pendergrass, Robert (Amy) Pendergrass; one half sister, Jenifer Pendergrass all of Phoenix, AZ; other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his father. Adam was a member of the Galilee Baptist Church in Wolf Lake. He worked as an over the road truck driver. He was known for his love of grilling and mud racing. Adam served his country in the United States Army during Desert Storm and Desert Shield. Memorial services for Mr. Adam Lee Boren will be at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday April 12, 2017 in the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Anna with Brother Jack Thornton officiating. Military rites will be conducted by the Illinois Army National Guard Military Honors Team of Marion. Friends may call after 4:00 p.m. and until the service at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 12, 2017 in the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Anna. Memorial contributions may be made to the Boren Family. Envelopes will be available in the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Anna.
