Davie, 79 of Wolf Lake, passed away Friday, December 17, 2021 at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau. She was born on February 6, 1942 in Herrin, the daughter of William J. and Marjorie Mae (Cobb) McPherson. She married Robert L. "Bob" Davie on July 21, 1962 in Springfield. He preceded her in death on March 29, 2004. She is survived by her daughter, Sandy (Andy) Schaefer; her grandchildren, Samantha and Andrew Carver, Alexis Oxford and Kalen (Caitlin) and Nathan (April) Livesay; great-grandchildren, Camden and Cash Keppner and Harlow and Posie Oxford; a sister, Virginia Johnson; a son-in-law, Kevin Walker; bonus children, Dea Ann Boner and Roger (Terena) Harris and her good friends, Delores Landreth and Mary Helen Ury. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, a daughter, Lisa Livesay, a niece, Kimberly Hanson and a good friend, Kay Schaefer. Adalee was a member of Salem Evangelical Lutheran Church in Jonesboro. She was an avid reader and loved to crochet and go fishing. She was a loving mother and proud grandmother that enjoyed going on rides with her grandchildren. Graveside funeral services for Adalee M. Davie will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, January 10, 2022 at the Anna Cemetery with Kenny Verble officiating. Interment will follow. Rendleman and Hileman Funeral Home in Anna is in charge of arrangements. Memorial contributions can be made to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention or a charity of the donor's choice.
