Ada Reynolds

Ada Reynolds, age 87 of Anna, died Wednesday, February 3, 2021 at her home. She was born December 26, 1933 in Alto Pass, the daughter of Preston Filmore and Fannie Melissa (Underwood) Hale. She married Jack W. Reynolds on July 8, 1950 Pocahontas, AR, together they shared thirty eight years of marriage. He preceded her in death on March 19, 1989. Ada is survived by her loving children, Glenda Winn of Anna, Jack Reynolds Jr. of Carbondale, Billy Reynolds of Murphysboro, Cheryl (Ralph) Jedamski of Goreville; eleven grandchildren; twenty-three great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jack W. Reynolds; grandson, Joshua Reynolds; son in law, David Lee Winn; and several brothers and sisters. Ada was a member of the Christian Biblical Church of God for many years. She loved sewing and working in her herb garden. Graveside funeral service will be at 1:00 p.m. Friday, February 5, 2021 at the Alto Pass Cemetery with Doug Collison officiating. Interment will immediately follow. Friends are asked to go directly to the cemetery. Everyone attending will be required to wear face covering and observe social distancing guidelines.
